IV Therapy for Today Academy

The IV Therapy Today Academy is a comprehensive 8-hour, on-site IV certification program designed for healthcare facilities seeking to strengthen the clinical competency, confidence, and performance of their staff.

Delivered directly at your facility, this training provides a high-impact blend of didactic instruction and hands-on skills validation, ensuring participants develop the knowledge and practical experience required to perform IV therapy safely and effectively in real-world clinical settings.

Participants will receive in-depth training in both foundational and advanced IV therapy concepts, including:

• Peripheral IV insertion techniques
• IV fluid and medication administration
• Central line and PICC line care
• Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
• Blood and blood product administration (RN only)
• Infection prevention and complication management

The program emphasizes clinical accuracy, patient safety, and best practices, with guided instruction from experienced nurse educators and hands-on competency validation to ensure skill mastery.

All required IV supplies, equipment, and course materials are provided as part of the training, allowing your team to focus fully on learning and skill development.
